Fokionos Negri was once a large Avenue that was a paved over ravine where water from the mountain called Tourkovouno used to run down. Sometime in the late 20th century they turned the whole thing into a pedestrian road with a park in the middle. It starts at Patission street and goes for about a kilometer or so and ends at Kypeli Square, also known as Platia Kanaris.
